Q. How do I send you my photos and my About Me text?
A. After you complete your payment transaction you will receive an email with instructions. The email will tell you how to send in your photos and what content we will need to put on your website (i.e. About Me, My Contact Info etc.)..
Q. How do I make payments?
A. Payments are made with Pay Pal. If payment is not made within 10 days of invoiced a $20 late fee will apply to your account . After 45 days your account will be terminated.
Q. Can I change the design of the template?
A. Yes, any changes to a template other then content (About Me etc.) and your photos will fall under Structural Changes . We charge $25 per hour for Structural Changes.
Q. Who owns the web site?
A. The content on the web site that you've written, and your photos are yours. The graphics that we have created as well as the layout are ours and cannot be taken with you until a period of 1 year is over. Once 1 year has passed, you are free to take your design and do whatever you want with the Model Web Portfolio we've created for you. Because we don't make you sign any long-term contracts, it is easy for people to use our services, take our work, and then leave soon after. This is our way of protecting our work and preventing this from happening.
Q. How long does it take to complete the web site?
A. It takes an estimated 15 business days to complete your Model Web Portfolio design and get your site up and running. We ask you to fill out an information form and send in your photos. We begin work the following business day after we receive your photos and the information form that we ask you to fill out and send in.
Q. Can I have access to my web site via ftp?
A. We can't allow ftp access to Model Web Portfolios clients that are on monthly payment plans. If we allow access then people would download the site and go with another company. This is our way of protecting our work.
Q. How do I update my web site?
A. We offer one free hour of updates to monthly plans only since we don't allow ftp access. Updates includes, changing your content pages (i.e. About Me, Contact Me etc.) and adding new photos. Any structural changes will be charged at our $25 per hour structural change rate. |
